The first day is over, we made it, we are tired...but ready for tomorrow!
I enjoyed spending the day with my 16 2nd grade students (missing 1 today). The next few weeks we will be working on building a community of learners and friends. We will be taking many assessments to see where each student is(academically), so that I can help them move forward in their learning. Here are some pictures from today...

Open House & First Day of School
A big thank you to all of the parents that came to Open House last week. It was great to meet you and your child.
Things to remember:
Send folder with all of the completed forms
Send supplies
All students are able to eat a FREE breakfast at school
We will have a snack time in the afternoon, so please send a snack daily with your child
Your child will need a 1 1/2 inch binder for their "Portfolio"
Thank you,
Mrs. Bowman
